Plain-language summary: You're buying a license to use Scrivar on one device at a time. You own your documents. We own the software. You can transfer your license to a new device anytime. Each yearly version (e.g., Scrivar 2027) is a separate license.
Pound Pixel LLC ("Licensor") grants you ("Licensee") a non-exclusive, non-transferable, perpetual license to install and use Scrivar PDF Suite ("the Software") on one (1) device at a time, subject to the terms below.
The Software is licensed, not sold. Your purchase of a registration code grants you the right to use the specific version and tier (Lite or Pro) indicated by the code.
Scrivar Lite. Includes core PDF viewing, merging, splitting, compressing, image conversion, signing, form filling, basic annotations, and document protection features.
Scrivar Pro. Includes everything in Lite, plus text and image editing, advanced annotations, invoice builder, batch processing, watermark, crop, page numbers, redaction, flattening, OCR, and full document conversion (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Feature availability is determined by the tier associated with your registration code. Attempting to circumvent tier restrictions is a violation of this agreement.
Each registration code may be activated on one (1) device at a time. A device is identified by a hardware fingerprint (a one-way hash — we cannot reverse-engineer your hardware details from it). You may deactivate the Software on one device and reactivate on another at any time, either through the app's Settings menu or by contacting support.
The Software includes a 7-day free trial with Pro-tier features. No registration code is required for the trial. After the trial period, a valid registration code is required to continue using the Software. Trial usage is limited to one trial per device.
Your license is tied to the version year you purchased (e.g., "Scrivar 2027"). You are entitled to all updates and patches released for that version year at no additional cost. Future major versions (e.g., "Scrivar 2028") are separate products requiring a new license or upgrade purchase at a discounted price.
Previous versions continue to function indefinitely. Purchasing a new version does not revoke your license for older versions.
Cloud storage and AI features are optional subscription add-ons billed separately. These subscriptions are governed by the same terms. Cancellation of a subscription removes access to subscription features but does not affect your base Software license.
Your documents. You retain full ownership of all documents, files, and content you create, edit, or process using the Software.
The Software. All rights, title, and interest in the Software, including its source code, design, user interface, documentation, and trademarks, remain the exclusive property of Pound Pixel LLC.
You may not:
This license is effective until terminated. Your license terminates automatically if you breach any term of this agreement. Upon termination, you must uninstall the Software and destroy all copies. We may also revoke a registration code if we determine it has been obtained fraudulently, shared in violation of these terms, or used to circumvent licensing restrictions.
THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. POUND PIXEL LLC DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SOFTWARE WILL BE ERROR-FREE OR UNINTERRUPTED.
IN NO EVENT SHALL POUND PIXEL LLC BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE SOFTWARE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE PURCHASE PRICE YOU PAID FOR THE SOFTWARE.
You agree to comply with all applicable export control laws and regulations. The Software may not be exported or re-exported to embargoed countries or to individuals on any government restricted party list.
This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Miami-Dade County, Florida.
This EULA, together with the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, constitutes the entire agreement between you and Pound Pixel LLC regarding the Software and supersedes all prior agreements.
